2015 Classified Employee of the Year Program

2015 Classified Employee of the Year Program

The Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) is pleased to invite districts to participate in the MCOE 2015 Classified School Employee of the Year Program (CSEYP), to recognize and honor the dedicated classified employees throughout Monterey County.

Classified employees play vital roles in the education of our students. From transporting and feeding students, to teaching critical life skills for student success or ensuring schools operate smoothly, classified employees are integral to public education.

The CSEYP highlights the contributions of classified school employees who support the education of California’s public school students in preschool through grade 12. Locally, classified employees are integral in the lives of more than 72,000 students in Monterey County.

The CSEYP will identify six exemplary classified school employees throughout Monterey County who will move forward for consideration in the California Department of Education’s Classified Employee of the Year Program.

School districts are encouraged to submit candidates for consideration to MCOE no later than 5:00 PM on Friday February 28, 2015. Submissions can be sent to Dr. Rosa E. Coronado, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, via email to rcoronad@monterey.k12.ca.us or regular mail to P.O. Box 80851, Salinas, CA 93912. Dr. Coronado is available to answer any of your questions regarding the program at (831) 784-4195.
