2016 Exercise Challenge

Monterey County Office of Education employees participant in the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System's Exercise Challenge.

2016 NY Exercise Challenge

Good health comes to those who exercise and studies show that just 15 minutes of daily exercise can help make a difference.  For that reason and more, Monterey County Office of Education employees are taking part in the Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System's 10-week Exercise Challenge.

MCOE employees feel that the Exercise Challenge is a wonderful opportunity to join fellow colleagues in promoting and participating in a healthy lifestyle. Even if they did not make a New Year’s resolution to exercise more, they see many great benefits by increasing their physical activity.

Regular exercise keeps your muscles strong, reduces high blood pressure, and strengthens your heart. Even better, exercise helps with weight loss and improves your overall mood and mental well-being. These are all great reasons to get moving.

MCOE employees wishing to participate this year should contact their department director or human resources.
