“Festival to Schools” Program Brings Litterati Presentations to Greenfield
Greenfield, Calif. – Two dynamic presentations by the founder of Litterati will take place for Vista Verde Middle School students on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
For the past four years, the Carmel Ideas Foundation, in conjunction with the Pebble Beach Authors and Ideas Festival, has provided exceptional opportunities for schools to take advantage of the “Festival to Schools” program for middle school and high school students. Renowned speakers are sponsored to go to school sites and speak to large assemblies of students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear them.
This Thursday, the “Festival to Schools” program welcomes Jeff Kirschner to Vista Verde Middle School. Mr. Kirschner is an award winning entrepreneur with a successful history in media and online startups. Mr. Kirschner also spent years traveling the globe, where he saw firsthand the challenges we face on a global scale. This led him to starting his latest venture; Litterati – a social movement using Instagram to clean the planet one piece of litter at a time. For more information on Litterati, visit www.litterati.org.
Mr. Jim McGillen, co-founder of the Carmel Ideas Foundation and the Pebble Beach Authors and Ideas Festival, will be on hand as well.
Jeff will be making two presentations at Vista Verde Middle School on Thursday, December 17. The first will be at noon, the second at 12:45. He will address approximately 350 students. Vista Verde Middle School is located at 1199 Elm Ave, Greenfield, CA 93927.
