Teacher Recruitment Fair Aims to Fill Teacher Vacancies

Salinas, Calif. – Monterey County school districts and private schools are in the process of recruiting teachers to fill vacancies for the upcoming school year. The Monterey County Office of Education Teacher Recruitment Fair, held on Wednesday, March 30, gives candidates the opportunity to meet with many different schools’ representatives to discuss employment opportunities. The California and national teacher shortage has created a number of open positions across the country, and Monterey County has felt the impact. County and district officials have a number of open positions to fill for the upcoming school year.
