Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) is a state-led consortium developing assessments aligned to the Common Core State Standards in English language arts/literacy and mathematics that are designed to help prepare all students to graduate high school college- and career-ready.
Many resources regarding the California 2015 implementation of the Smarter Balanced test can be found at the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) website. Additional resources created by MCOE and other agencies are presented below.
