►Asset Based Youth Development
Safety, relationship building, opportunities for meaningful participation, community involvement and skill building are the foundation of resiliency and healthy child and youth development. School communities play an indispensable role in building these critical assets for all children and youth. This training assists districts and school sites in integrating strengths based youth development practices into the culture and climate of their school. By reflecting on the policies, programs and procedures at a school site and training staff to use strengths based approaches in their teaching and interactions with youth.
