FYS pic 4 working session at capitol.jpgIn the fall of 2013, MCOE held a Foster Youth Leadership Summit "Project F.Y.I. (Foster Youth Influencing)" to train foster youth in educational advocacy skills, and to assist in providing input to districts for LCAP development. One of the outcomes of this project was a request from the youth that a universal symbol be used in educational institutions which would identify an on-campus resource specifically for foster students. Below is the symbol they selected. Please help them by posting this symbol in your school/district offices where foster student staff are available to assist them.
