California Alternate Assessment 2015

CAPA Science will be given for grades 5, 8 and 10.  There is only one version of CAPA Science this year. The links for CAPA science are:

California Alternate Assessment (CAA) is a new computer based field test for ELA and Math for students with significant disabilities in grades 3-8 and 11th grades.  The first training webinar will be held March 11 at 1pm. Here is the link:  http://californiatac.org/training/webcast/index.html  

The webinar will be archived and available after the first showing at the same site. Teachers should coordinate with their district testing director to make sure the students are set up in the TOMS system in their district. 

California Alternate Assessment Field Test The California Alternate Assessment (CAA) field test will begin on April 15 and conclude on June 10, 2015. Webcast training for the CAA will occur on March 11, 2015, and is primarily designed for TAs. All TAs are required to view the two-hour training prior to test administration. LEA CAASPP and site coordinators will need to verify training has been completed in TOMS by checking a box. All Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), special education directors, and staff are encouraged to regularly visit the CDE CAASPP Alternate Assessment web page for updated resources and information.
