The Technology & Operations Division at the Monterey County Office of Education provides leadership in the area of information systems, computing, and telecommunications. Our dedication and service to the schools, districts, and students provides a safe and reliable computing environment that enables the important work of educating to go on unburdened with such concerns. We are ever vigilant for new technologies that will further the goals of protection and education.
It is our goal to ensure comprehensive state-of-the-art technology and information services infrastructure and support that effectively provides a centralized and fully-integrated technology system. This system includes the establishment and formalization of organizational process control systems focused on continual service improvement and the achievement of operational excellence for the Monterey County Office of Education, school districts, and community college districts in Monterey County.
The Technology & Operations Division is also responsible for the development, documentation and implementation of organization-wide process controls, metrics, and reporting systems. Additionally, the Technology & Operations Division ensures that educational technology services needed for both the improvement of staff productivity and for 21st Century classroom instruction are provided to school districts and MCOE educational programs.
