Program Overview
Since its beginning in 1984, the Washington Union Educational Foundation (WUEF) has contributed over $1 million to support and enhance the educational programs of the Washington Union School District. The WUEF funding to the District for 2008-2009 school year is $204,000 and will support the music, art, athletic, technology (hardware, software, conumables) programs as well as assemblies for the students.
WUEF funds are raised primarily through two vehicles: Fall Campaign, a direct appeal, and our annual Dinner Dance & Auction which will be held this March 7, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey. Mark your calendars now for this fun event!
